Optical Fibre Cables Central Loose Tube Description: The cable is of Central Loose Tube (CLT) structure. Single Mode Optical Fibres are placed in a Loose Tube and jelly is applied during the extrusion process. Three FRP’s are embedded in the sheathing. Application: Trunk & Junction Network, T.V. Distribution, Data Links, Telemetry, Short span aerial application on existing open air alignment network. Slotted Core Description: Primary coated single mode optical fibre is placed in the helical slots of a central strength member extruded with polypropylene. The Cable core is polyethylene sheathed and Nylon jacketed to make it rodent resistant and termite proof. Application: Trunk & Junction Network, T.V. Distribution, Data Links, and Telemetry Aerial Optical Fibre Cables Description: The cable is of Central Loose Tube (CLT) structure. Three FRP’s are embedded in the sheathing. To make it suitable for aerial Application Aramide Yarn is raped over the sheathing and then it is jacketed with Nylon.
